d) How and where do I get a quote for shipping my goods?

e) How long is a quote valid for?

Each quote has different validity — the starting and ending date will be shown on the quote.

a) Can I change the destination of my shipment?

Yes. You can easily change the destination online by submitting an amendment request with the new destination details.

b) How can I amend a Delivery Order?

You simply need to send us your booking online and send us a delivery order amendment with the new details.

c) How do I cancel a booking?

If the booking has changed, you can ask us to amend it. If you do need to cancel though, just send us the booking and send a cancellation request.

d) How do I get a container?

Once a booking is placed, you will receive a booking confirmation. It will have the load itinerary and the location of the empty depot from where the container will be released, along with the date from which the container will be available at the depot.

e) How do I schedule my container for the next vessel?

It’s very straightforward. You simply need to send us a booking amendment request with the new vessel details.

a) Can I change my place of delivery after I have received my Bill of Lading BL?

Yes, it is called Change of Destination (CoD). You can confirm that the old set has been canceled , destroyed, or made void, and then COD can be processed at a cost. It is important to note that in some cases this may not be possible due to the need to comply with the different cut-offs. It is important to be aware that there may be additional variable operational costs depending on the situation. The freight rate quoted will also change according to the new destination.

b) Can I get my Original Bill of Lading (OBL) before vessel sails if I have paid all the necessary changes?

Yes, it is called Received for Shipment Bill of Lading and has to be approved on a case-by-case basis.

c) Can I preview shipment details as they will appear on the Bill of Lading prior to printing?

Absolutely, we can provide you with a verified copy.

d) Can I switch consignee or shipper after the Bill of Lading BL has been issued?

Yes. Once you confirm that the old set has been canceled, destroyed, or made void, the change can be processed.

e) Can Atlas Global settle customs or port invoices on my behalf and add these to my account?

The procedure of settling the payments to customs or port differ as per local regulations. In some countries, we are allowed to settle invoices on behalf of the customer and invoice it back to customer’s account whereas in other countries, the payments are made directly by the customers to customs or port. Please contact our customer service team to know more about the local regulations of settling customs and port payments.

f) Can someone send Shipping Instructions for me?

Yes, shipping instructions can be sent by someone other than the person who makes the booking.

g) For what reasons will the shipping instructions be rejected?

There may be a variety of reasons, including local or commodity restrictions. If we do reject them, we will be in touch to advise the reasons for rejection and what we need from you to make it right.
